Gina Hargitay Wins Miss Jamaica World 2013

Montego Bay Jamaica came alive on Sunday night, when a new Queen was crowned as Miss Jamaica World 2013. 18 year old Gina Hargitay capped the coveted title from a field of 25 beauties at the Montego Bay Convention.

Gina will represent Jamaica at Miss World 2013 on September 28 at the Sentul International Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia. She was also awarded three sectional prizes — Most Aware, Most Sociable, and Best Smile.

As the winner she walked away with a brand new Suzuki Kizashi luxury sports car valued at J$4.55M Her prize package will also include incentives such as a Miss World wardrobe; J$500,000 prize package courtesy of Nirvana Magazine; a training package from Fusion Consulting Limited, on screen film training from Frame by Frame and access to a full university scholarship courtesy of The University College of the Caribbean, University of London or Kursk State Medical University.

The first runner-up went to the crowd's favourite Jenaae Jackson who also won 'Best Figure' and 'Best Skin Tone'. Second runner-up went Amanda McCreath who awarded "Beauty in Business" prize.


Other sectional prizes winners were Christine Davis, who won 'Best Legs', Stephanie Harrison, 'Most Congenial' and Latoya Johnson 'Most Sociable'.

Rounding off the top 7 were: completed by Jessica Campbell, Shanice Rerrie, Sheree Tomlinson, and Vanessa Metzger.
