Miss Universe, Leila Lopes of Angola is
scheduled to be in Guyana next month for five days, from September 12th - 16th.
Leila five-day visit to Guyana is to assist with
various aspects of the local leg of the Miss Guyana pageant, this according
Khalsan PR Inc, the official spokesperson for the Miss Guyana Universe Pageant.
Miss Lopes is scheduled to meet with President
Donald Ramotar, she will also visit the Kaieteur Falls, the Georgetown Public
Hospital, University of Guyana, and the Palms
The Miss Guyana Universe will be held on September 15th
at the Princess Hotel and Casino, where fourteen delegates will vie for this
year's crown.
The 61st Miss Universe Pageant will in December 2012, a venue and date have yet to be announced.
