Colette Cyrus-Burnett is the owner of Super Wings and was selected to by the Universoul Circus committee to act as ringmaster for its Brooklyn opening night, titled “Fire Night.”
Prior to the Brooklyn Fire Night, the Trinidadian
native and "wing master" hosted a day of celebration at her Super
Wings located within the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. Sharing wings,
music, dancing, including stilt walking fun, Burnett proved that being
ringmaster is not only under the big tent but out within the community.
Caribbean Passion also provided costumes for display
for the community day. Hostesses dressed in Caribbean Passion costumes, passed
out Burnett’s variety of tasty wings to the crowd.
CEO of Caribbean Passion Inc., Shola Thompson is
very honored to have produced a costume that was featured in a historical
traveling entertainment staple.
“This is just the beginning. We hope to be a costume
producer for other featured circus performers,” Shola Thompson shared with
press.
Colette’s corset was designed by Claude Desir,
head and shoulder piece was designed by Nicole Mebane.
