An action packed day of cricket at the Trini Posse Stand |
As Trini Posse approaches its 2 decade mark it is truly amazing that this group of young friends whose sole interest was touring the Caribbean to support their West Indian team has not only stood the test of time but also continues to change the way the world watches cricket, as evidenced by the entertainment elements of music, dancing girls and the strong ‘Trini Posse’ influence at events such the Indian Premier League, Australian Big Bash or the T20 Intel Championships.
In 1996 on the 100th Anniversary of the Queens Park Cricket Club, the late Joey Carew offered them the opportunity to ‘fill the School Boy Stand with a few friends’ for the Sri Lanka test, thus began the Trini Posse Stand as it is called today.
