'Trillo' to Make Debut Performance at STING 2011

The annual STING Jamaica event held at Jam World complex Portmore in the parish of St. Catherine is known across the island and the Reggae music industry worldwide as the premiere, highly anticipated  stage show to be held in Kingston at Christmas time and incorporates everything that a hardcore Reggae/Dancehall fan could wish for;  An incredible line-up, electic atmosphere, amazing performances and a few on-stage clashes.  One night can make or break an artiste career!  the show is that important.

Important it is also for upcoming and/or artistes on the verge to perform on this major event. When Jamerican artiste, Vanya 'Trillo' GoPaul was asked to make a debut performance on the 2011 staging of STING by head of the Supreme Promotions team Mr. Isiah Laing, his career automatically excelled in the local industry. Trillo had only released his first official single during summer of 2011 in Jamaica; a collaboration with the IRAWMA 2011 Female DJ/Rapper of the year Macka Diamond entitled, 'It's Summertime.' The song quickly spread to the crevices and corners of Reggae music Capital, Kingston as was intended by management.

An awesome way to set off one's music career, Trillo made good of the exposure  not only in Jamaica where he got the opportunity to sit in on several radio, television and cable interviews but also in Florida, New Jersey and New York of the United States.  It's Summertime featuring Macka Diamond set the trend but it was the 'High Grade Alone' single produced by his management company, Higher Levelz Production that created the wave of opportunities for him.

Trillo first performed, High Grade Alone before it was officially released at another major event in Jamaica in August.  It was the annual A St. Mary Mi Come From show hosted by International Reggae/Dancehall artiste Capleton.  He gave an outstanding first time performance to an over 10,000 strong audience and was well received.

STING audience is expected to be much bigger and usually attract more international attention than most events held in Jamaica so it is highly likely that Trillo will be bringing his 'A game.'  When asked how he felt about performing on the show he said, " There is absolutely no denying the power of the Jamaican people and their appreciation for your music.  Once they give you the thumbs up, you know almost immediately that international recognition in the music is yours for the taking."

So this Christmas, will be.  A very Merry Christmas for Trillo cause unlike other trips he has had at this time.  None, has ever come this close to his life long dream.
