Coming on the heels of an energetic performance at UTECH, rising dancehall deejay and Darkcide International recording artiste Chedda known for the hits ‘Cleanest’ and ‘Fake Jeans Admit It’ has shot two new videos for the singles ‘Nuh Borrow’ and ‘Gal Dem A Bawl’, the latter produced by Darkcide in collaboration with Freeze Production.
‘Gal Dem A Bawl’ shot in the vicinity of Gordon Town is part of the Menke Riddim video medley while ‘Nuh Borrow’ (The Steppa Life Riddim) filmed in Half-Way Tree and Downtown Kingston is the deejay’s fifth solo video. Directed by the award winning Christopher Campbell of Iceyjace Film Factory both projects are slated for official debut later this month.
According to Chedda, “This is just another phase in the promotional campaign; The people have been showing these songs a lot of love so we decided to do videos to bolster the promotion. I just want to say respect and thanks to every radio jock , street selector and the fans for the support”
“Another of my tracks ‘Shell Di Bar’ is doing very well and later this month we plan to do another video for that as well. Right now for me it’s all about work because the industry is very competitive so as one of the new bloods in the business me have to go hard” – He added.
Meanwhile, with the festive season fast approaching, Chedda has released four new singles namely; ‘Shell Di Bar’, ‘Nuh Borrow’, ‘Gal Dem A Bawl’ and ‘See We A Road’ and is expected to bolster his presence with the release of several others in the weeks ahead courtesy of Notice Production, Upt 007 Records, PayDay Music Group and Coppershot Music among others. All singles are currently available on iTunes and other digital platforms.
