At the recently held Canne Film Festival in France., Jamaican film Ghett'a Life won the Best Pitch Award .
Ghett'a Life, which is written, directed and produced by Chris Browne, was entirely produced locally.
At the film festival Justine Henzell,the Co-Producer presented the film for judging which gained substantial exposure.
The movie tells the story of an inner-city youth who discovers boxing but faces challenges due to the political realities within his community.
Ghett'a Life is now set for the Jamaican public to receive the grand public showing of the film on Wednesday, July 27.
