Meet The Miss Bermuda 2014 Contestants

even beauties will be vying for The Miss Bermuda title for a chance to represent her country at the Miss World Pageant in London.

The winner will be crowned by reigning Miss Bermuda Katherine Arnfield on Sunday, July 6th, 2014 at the Fairmont Southhampton Princess.

The contestants representing each Parish are:
Siairah Minors – St. George’s
 
L. Carmela Robinson – Pembroke
 
Indigo Palacio – Hamilton
 
Cami Bean-Caines – Warwick
Lillian Lightbourn – Sandys
Khianda Pearman-Watson – Southampton
Fredrika Hill – Smiths

Katherine Arnfield Is the Newly Crowned Miss Bermuda 2013

Over the weekend seventeen year old Katherine Arnfield was crowned Miss Bermuda at the Fairmont Southampton held in the Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre. Arnfield will be representing her in Indonesia next month when she competes at Miss World.









Seven young ladies vied for the title, Echaunti Swan was the first runner up, while Chelzea Somner was awarded second runner up.  Rounding out the top 5 were Denae Simmons who was the third runner up and Warwick Alexandra McMartin was the fourth runner up.
 

In the sectional awards Katherine Arnfield was also awarded the People’s Choice winner, while Echaunti Swan nabbed both the Miss Congeniality and Miss Hospitality titles. Denae Simmons won the Miss Photogenic title, which was judged by local photographers C. Anthony Francis, Alex Masters, Anthony Wade and Donovin Seymour.

Judges included Teresa Perozzi, Dr Chris Johnson, Diane Whittaker, Gita Blakeney-Saltus, Marc Daniels and Kelly Hall, Miss Bermuda 1993.

Who will be crown Miss Bermuda 2013? - Meet the contestants

The Miss Bermuda 2013 Pageant will take place on Sunday June 23rd, at the Fairmont Southampton, where seven young ladies will compete for the crown.

Reigning queen Rochelle Minors will crown her successor who will represents Bermuda at the Miss World Pageant at the Sentul International Convention Center in Indonesia on September 28th.

Rochelle Minors wins Miss Bermuda 2012

The Mid-Ocean Amphitheatre at the Fairmont Southampton came alive Sunday night when 22 year old Rochelle Minors was crown Miss Bermuda 2012.


Rochelle won from a field of seven and will represents Bermuda at this year's Miss World competition in China this August.  She also won the Miss Photogenic award.


Minors is currently studying fashion design at the University for the Creative Arts in Rochester, England.

First runner up went to Chelsy Furtado while Lené Hypolite was second runner up.  Dwanae Simons was 3rd runner up and Miss Warwick Deshona Perinchief was 4th runner up. 

Other contestants included Dashunte Furbert who won the Miss Congeniality title, Crystal Lyn representing Southampton and Shannon Ingram representing St George’s.

The nights event  was hosted by Patrina “Powergirl” Paynter and Nadanja Bailey, and the judges were Glenn Jones, Kristy “Miss Thang” Burgess, pageant promoter Terry Smith, and former beauty queens Sophia Cannonier and Colita Joseph-Cook.
