On Saturday at the at the Sunset
Beach Resort, Spa and Waterpark in Montego Bay, 23 year old Jody
Liu of Singapore won the Miss Global International 2013 Pageant.

Along with the
crown Jody walked away with US$5,000 in prizes sponsored
by the Commonwealth Group of Canada, She was also awarded sectional prize for “Most Aware”

Thirty-one other
contestants from across the globe also vied for the title including Miss Uganda, Sylvia Namutebi who won first runner-up while Miss Bahamas, Lashanda Wildgoose was second runner-up and awarded the 'Most Congenial' contestant.
In the other
sectional awards winners were: Miss USA, Phanith Sovann winning the talent section;
Miss Haiti, Marie Exume for Best
Smile, and Miss Jamaica, Roshelle McKinley for 'Best
Figure'.
Liu who is no stranger to pageant is a former Miss Earth and Miss Universe contestant.
