After working at Television Jamaica (TVJ) for two years, TV personality Kerry-ann 'Kiki' Lewis left the organisation for greener pastures.

"I made that decision to leave to get more stability in my life," said Lewis who left the station a month ago after her contract ended.

She hosted the TV show Intense and was the chill room host for the popular series 'Rising Stars'.

Although she worked in entertainment for 10 years, Lewis will be producing current affairs shows on the Public Broadcasting Corporation of Jamaica (PBCJ).

However, this does not mean she will not be involved in entertainment.

"I will definitely miss it (entertainment). Not because I am not in mainstream does not mean I won't be involved in entertainment," said Lewis, while noting that she might still do some level of work on 'Rising Stars'.

Nonetheless, she is working on a new talkshow project called 'Life', which might be aired on PBCJ or TVJ.

Sharon Schroeter, producer at TVJ, said singer Sanjay Ramanand will continue to host Intense until a replacement is found. However, Schroeter says she does not know who will replace Lewis as chill room host on 'Rising Stars'.

"She was a very integral part of Intense and she will be missed," Schroeter told The STAR.
