eggae is a music genre
that originated out of Jamaica in the 1960’s that evolved out of the earlier
genres ska and rocksteady. Reggae
is also strongly influenced by traditional mento and calypso music, as well as
American jazz and rhythm and blues, which has spread to many countries across
the world.
We took a look at some of
the greatest reggae singers of all times, but narrowing down the list of the greatest
was difficult, because there were so many to choose from.
