Sean Paul knocks Ce’Cile from the top spot

Sean Paul’s So Fine is the new number one single on Germany’s Black Singles chart. The track removed Ce’Cile’s Hot Like We from the top of the chart.

Incidentally, both Sean Paul and Ce’Cile teamed up in 2001 for the Liquid rhythm hit Can You Do the Wuck, which rode several local charts.

On the red carpet at the just concluded BET Awards in Los Angeles, Sean Paul told this column that his new album Imperial Blaze will be fully loaded with great songs. Said Sean Paul, ‘I worked with people like Stephen McGregor, Lefside and I even produced a couple of tracks myself. It’s a good album and the fans are going to love this one’.

Imperial Blaze hits stores in August. So Fine is already charting stateside on the Billboard’s R&B Singles chart.
