Jermaine Michael " Corner Stone " debuts on Jamaica Music Countdown Chart

After weeks of intense radio airplay, the single Corner Stone by Jermaine Michael has made its debut entry on the Jamaica Music Countdown Chart.  Both song and video have now impacted a local chart with the video hitting number one in its first week of entry of CVM Hitlist.  The Hitlist chart is fueled by the highest number of votes garnered weekly and of course for Jermaine who is coming away from a major competition with similar voting policy evidently exercised his skills of garnering adequate votes to push the song to the top spot and was successful doing so. 

Stashment Production which manages the former Digicel Rising Star third place runner-up, has already ‘airplay tested’ a new single by Jermaine which the company plans to release soon.  However, C.E.O. Stasha Smith believes this new song “needs some more work” so it will be dealt with and officially released soon.  In the meantime Corner Stone continues to get consistent airplay on radio and seems as if it will be around for a very long time.

Jermaine Michael's “Corner Stone’ hits big on radio stations worldwide

"You see the same stone, that the builder man refuse, shall be the head corner stone, I’m gonna make it on my own. Tru me a rising star, dem nuh waan me reach too far, but Jah shine him light ina de wilderness….De corner stone dem refuse it, but man firm and solid as a rock…” 

These words echoes over the radio multiple times each day, they are the lyrics of Jermaine Michael's “Corner Stone’ single that has picked up momentum on several radio stations locally and internationally over the past few weeks. 

Clearly motivational, one get the feeling that the repetitive plays by some jocks signifies personal beliefs in the message sent across the airwaves. As depicted in the video also in rotation, the music producer that chased Jermaine from his studio door, held his head with both hands when he saw him appeared on his television screen. 

In the same way he did not pay the artiste any attention when he came knocking on his studio door is the very same way he did missed out on his big break again demonstrated in the video when his collegue stated, “yu fi give young artist a chance.”  A Powerfull message applicable to many success stories music or otherwise, the same stone persevered and came out on top sending a strong message no wonder radio airplay have simply, 'tun up!!' on this one
