Nesbeth's Reggae Salute performances
recently in both London and Birmingham were successful and met the expectations
of a promise he made to give his UK fans a "September to remember" type of show. The
Jamaican, socially conscious Reggae artiste performed at the Luxurious Tower
Ballroom in Birmingham and the 02 Academy in London to thunderous applause
especially when he delivered in fine style his hit songs, 'Gunz Out,' 'Boardhouse'
and 'Baby Mother' along with his more recent hits, 'Friends for Sale,' and 'Drive
By' both of which were apparent favorite among the crowd. During his set
on both shows, Nesbeth told the audience that his performances were dedicated
to his late mother. Obviously moved by the disclosure, fans swayed and
encouraged him along as he sang a tribute to her in acapella.
In a telephone conversation with NIPnews,
Nesbeth had this to say about his overall experience
in the UK, "I feel good right now, I feel good about what is happening
here for me. It's just a wonderful feeling" and sent shout out to,
"a big shout out to Eccentrik
for holding things down for me and I have to say thanks to my Jamaican designer
Raj Apparel for my suit."
Whilst in London, Nesbeth will be documenting his first tour in a
brand new TV show called Entertainment Soul. He performed in Camden Town
October 6th along with Gyptian and
is also booked to appear at City Night Club in Edingburgh, Scotland October 10th and Newby Square in
Bradford October 12th. Plans to shoot three videos in between gigs are
underway before his return to Kingston October 16th.
