Couture:Kingston Bridal Week (KBW) Kicks off from September 22-29

The organizers of Kingston Bridal Week (KBW), have raised the bar once again bringing back Jamaica’s first annual bridal week, September 22-29; 8 days, 10 amazing events. Dubbed 'Where bridal meets lifestyle’, KBW kicks off with a Bridal Retreat and Super Dress Sale at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel on Sunday September 22nd. This event offers brides an opportunity to interact and consult with 30 of Jamaica’s leading bridal service and product suppliers. ($2500, time: 10am-4pm). The Super Dress Sale, in partnership with Petals and Promises will display over 150 dresses on sale at an average price of US$100 per dress. (Free, time: 9am-5pm):


On Monday, September 23rd, KBW will celebrate its Sponsors and Media partners with The International Media and Sponsors Party @ Jamaica Pegasus. This invitation only event will highlight the invaluable contribution of companies such as Intuit Concepts, N.C.B, Tai Flora Lux, Jamaica Yellow Pages, Digital Pre Press Ltd and Petals & Promises, who have supported the venture in year two. International media houses, Huffington Post, TEMPO and Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine will be represented.

 
KBW will premier, the romantic comedy, Baggage Claim on Tuesday September 24 @ Palace Cineplex.  Baggage Claim, written and directed by David E. Talbert, has an all-star cast inclusive of Paula Patton, Derek Luke, Taye Diggs, Jill Scott, Boris Kodjoe, Trey Songz, Adam Brody, Tia Mowry, LaLa Anthony, Djimon Hounsou. Part proceeds of ticket sales will go towards Father Holong’s Mission of the Poor Holy Innocents Home. ($2500, time: Cocktails 7pm showtime 8:30)

 
The activities will continue on, Wednesday and Thursday, September 25 and 26 with Brides for Haiti Charity Dress Drive. This all island dress drive in support of less fortunate Haitian brides and grooms is a public invitation to donate Bridal dresses, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos and bridal accessories. Drop off venues include Petals & Promises, Phoenix printery and Face Forward.
 

 Friday, September 27, signals the start of the three day bridal market, showcasing over 100 exhibitors and service providers at the Jamaica Pegasus, $1500 daily. On day 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday) of the bridal market patrons will be treated to two fashion shows daily, that is,1pm honeymoon shows and 6pm.

Randy Fenoli, famed TLC wedding connoisseur, will do a 2 hour presentation Randy Knows Best at the Jamaica Pegasus, on Saturday September 28th.   Randy’s presentation will focus on advice, gifts, demonstrations and a question and answer session for anxious brides to be. After which, patrons can indulge in, A Tasteof Kingston-Randy's dinner party on the Lawns of Pegasus.

On Sunday, September 29, for the first time in Jamaica brides will be able to book an exclusive one-on-one consultation with Randy Fenoli
