Funeral service for the the late, Wayne
‘Captain Barkey’
Hamilton will be held tomorrow
(November 8) the Hagley Park Seventh-Day Adventist Church
in Kingston.
The memorial service will commence at 11 a.m, followed
by an interment at Up Park Camp in St. Andrew
Captain Barkey’s body was flown back to Jamaica
from New York a few weeks ago, after he was shot and killed following an
incident outside a hotel in Bronx. Barkey
and his female companion, Tracy Bennett were shot and killed by Bennett’s
estranged ex-boyfriend, Joseph Kernizan on October 13.
Kernizan
later committed suicide after law enforcement officials surrounded an apartment
in Florida.
