Season one winner of the X Factor USA, British Virgin Island (BVI) Melanie Amaro has released her first music video for her debut single, 'Don't Fail Me Now', which premiered on Friday, October 19.


'Don't Fail Me Now' is the first song from Amaro's upcoming debut studio album with Epic Records, which is due to be release in December.

Melanie recently tweeted

"Hey, go watch my new music video "don't fail me now" on YouTube and vevo! Thanks for the love and support."

So far the song is getting mixed reviews from music critics, who praised the vocal performance, but criticized the use of auto-tune.

In an interview on Aceshowbiz, Melanie stated, "The song definitely describes the journey that I've had through life and throughout X Factor; the determination of my feet that they can't fail me, I gotta get to where I need to be". "My life has changed now because I walk down the street and it's like, 'Oh my God, you're Melanie Amaro'."
