Meet model Shanneil Brown

Shanneil Brown is a 20 year old Jamaican freelance model, who was born in Spanish Town St. Catherine, but grew up in Trelawny where she attended the William Knibb Memorial High School.

Shanneil has also been passionate about fashion and pageants growing up, so in her final year at high school she entered the Miss William Knibb Memorial High. Even though she placed in the top, the experience allowed her to build her confidence, and to pursue modeling as a career.

Shanneil was selected last year to represent Jamaica in Dominica in the Miss Beauty of the millennium 2011 pageant where she copped 3rd place, and was also involved in several fashion events that took place there.

In February of this year Shanneil represented Jamaica in the Miss India Worldwide competition hosted in Suriname even though she was not placed, she received major media recognition

Shanneil is currently a contestant in this year's Miss Jamaica Global pageant to be held on May 5th 2012. She will then heads to Germany to do modeling gig.

In September Shanneil will pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication, Advertising and Film

Shanneil lives by the philosophy: "Whatever the mind Conceives," and is a dedicated philanthropist who will be launching her foundation for the mentally ill later this year.
