Keecia Ellis is the Miss Jamaica UK 2011- 12

The newly crown Miss Jamaica Uk 2011- 12 is  Keecia Ellis, held on Saturday. December 17 at Camden Center London

The 22 year old law student won from a field of 15 contestants, and was also chosen as the most Elegant contestant. As the winner Keecia wins a  trip to Jamaica to explore its rich culture, building her understanding of the island, and  to meet leaders and other significant figures in Jamaican society,


After the winning moment Keecia Ellis who  is the daughter of the late Alton Ellis said "  “I will honour my commitments to Jamaica and I will be a great Ambassador for Jamaica and Jamaicans Worldwide.”

First runner up went to Miss Pak Cosmetics, 21 year old Sinead Smith, while Second runner up was was 17 year old Miss Capital College UK, Rashellee Wauchope-Kuku.

Miss Jamaica UK was founded in 1990 by June Daley, a teacher, model and entrepreneur, which has developed into the foremost beauty pageant in the UK for girls of Jamaican heritage.
