Rihanna leads Billboard Music Awards nominations

Rihanna is leading the pack with 18 nominations, for this weekend Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas.

Rihanna nomination  includes Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Female Artist, Top R&B Artist and Top Dance/Electronic Artist. "Love the Way You Lie," her chart-topping collaboration with Eminem.

Meanwhile, Eminem was nominated for 16 award categories , Lady Gaga 12 categories and Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber will each vie for 11 categories



Nicki Minaj is also nominated for Top New Artist, along with Bruno Mars, Ke$ha, Justin Bieber and Taio Cruz


Performers include Cee Lo Green, Pitbull and Nicki Minaj, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez, Taio Cruz, Metallica, and Britney Spears.
