Rihanna to Perform at Billboard Awards

Superstar Rihanna, will be performing at upcoming Billboard Music Awards, which will be at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on May 22 and broadcast live on ABC.

The event will honor musical acts who frequently occupied the Billboard charts during the period of February 28, 2010 through March 1, 2011.

Rihanna, who occupies the No. 2 spot on the singles chart,   is leading the pack as a finalist for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards.

The finalists were announced Wednesday, and Rihanna got herself into 18 spots including Top Hot 100 Artist and Top Female Artist. Love the Way You Lie, her collaboration with Eminem, makes her a force to be reckoned in six song categories
