NUVO CELEBRATES THE GOOD LIFE IN MONTEGO BAY

The major players in Montego Bay night life rolled out for the launch party of Nuvo Sparkling Liqueur at Pier One on March 23 in the Second City. The trendy upscale drink brought out entertainers, fashionistas and sophisticated people, all elegantly dressed in pink and black, to Celebrate the Good Life.

The night featured Diva performances by Nuvo adorers Lady Saw and Tifa, a tasteful Nuvo-themed fashion show and a classy pink carpet ushering in guests.

Special guests at the launch included Raphael Yakoby, creator of Nuvo. An accomplished entrepreneur who has had previous success in the beverage industry, Yakoby said Jamaica’s social landscape is a great fit for Nuvo.

“Jamaica is a great market for Nuvo. I am happy to be here for the launch and expect that consumers will love our product,” Mr. Yakoby said. “We have dancehall divas Lady Saw and Tifa representing the brand here and both are sexy, trendy and love to celebrate the good life – just like Nuvo.”

The invite-only event marked the official introduction of Nuvo Sparkling Liqueur to the Jamaican market. Nuvo is distributed by Red Stripe and Jamaica is one of the first markets outside of the USA to launch Nuvo.

Made with premium French vodka, a touch of delicate sparkling white wine and infused with passion fruit nectar, NUVO has been delighting taste buds since its introduction in December. Packaged in a gorgeous, perfume-like bottle that adds flare and décor to any occasion, its image is one of sophistication, elegance and style.

NUVO was launched in the United States over two years ago, and quickly became a favourite amongst party profilers and entertainment personalities, as it allowed them to stand out and look stylish. Jamaican consumers have already shown to have a strong appetite for NUVO from the social marketing websites, hip hop and R&B videos, and the multiple celebrity endorsements which include Eva Longoria, Fat Joe, T-Pain and Flo-Rida.

Its unique blend of vodka, sparkling wine and fruit nectars allows for one of the best single serve drinks as well as a mixer for perfect cocktails, thus offering consumers even more ways to enjoy the product.

Safia Cooper, Brand Manager for Scotch, Liqueurs and Reserve, has been excited since the product became available in December. She says that Red Stripe is happy to add it to the portfolio of spirits it distributes.

“Consumers have been enjoying NUVO since the Christmas holidays and we expect this launch to add even more anticipation around the brand. NUVO is well known as a premium brand in the United States and Latin America and we look forward to generating an even larger following here,” Ms. Cooper said.
