International Reggae and World Music Awards to be in Trinidad

The 30^th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) will be held this year at the National Academy of the Performing Arts in Port of Spain, Trinidad on May 28. Nominees includes Gyptian, who has the most nomination of eight, followed by Trinidad and Tobago's King of Soca, Machel Montano, and Damian 'Junior Gong' Marley both with seven each. Vybz Kartel received five nominations.

Other  nominees include Rapper Nicki Minja, Pop Queen Rihanna, Jah Cure, Beenie Man, Elephant Man, I-Octane, Queen Ifrica, Shaggy, Tarrus Riley, Third World, Gramps Morgan , Marcia Griffiths, producers Sly and Robbie

On May 29th a concert will be held at the Queens Park Savannah  to celebrate the winners
