Jamaican Actress Christine Bell has Died

Actress Christine Ann Bell , died last night at the Andrews Memorial Hospital, she was 59 years old. Bell has being battling cancer for the last six months.

Bell who is better known for her role  as Rose Madden, the wife of police inspector Trevor Madden, played by Bobby Finzi-Smith on Royal Palm Estate, started her career in Journalism in 1972.

She later  pursued journalism training at the British Broadcasting Corporation and the Miami Dade Community College

She was the former chairman of the Actor Boy Awards Committee and founding member of JADA. She also started her own PR company "Innovative Ideas",17 years ago,

As an outstanding actress, Christine Ann Bell won  three Actor Boy Awards  during the course of her career ; Best Actress in a Lead Role Louis Marriott’s Office Chase; Lenford Salmon’s State of Emergency and Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun.

She is survived by sons  David-Anthony Smellie and Iyun Harrison and mother Zillbell Rose.

My fondest memory of Christine was her role as Vicky on the popular RJR morning story "Neseberry Street".

I was in Highschool,so my mom was record the programme for me. She was so adorable... R.I.P
