Nicki Minaj "Super Bass" Goes Double Platinum on Billboard

Nicki Minaj considered by many as the best female rapper continously is breaking records.  Her single  “Super Bass” went double platinum  and  is the most successful solo single by a female rapper  in almost a ten years.

The single is  landing  No. 3 on Billboard's Hot 100, making it the highest charting solo single by a female rapper since Missy Elliot's “Work It” reached No. 2 and held the spot for 10 consecutive weeks in 2002.

Since 2009 , Nicki has had  eight top 10 hits on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.  "Super Bass," is the 7th  largest  R&B/hip-hop digital song with a download of 1.91 million.
