Director Jonathan Levine, writer Will Reiser and producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are teaming up to a comedy called "Jamaica". The comedy is based on a teenage boy who went to the Island with his grandmother , when he was 14.
On Wednesday a statement was released by the team regarding the project even though no details were provide regarding the plot. However Resier, who has been to Jamaica will tell the stories from his own experiences. "This is a story that I've long wanted to tell," Reiser said of the movie. "It's something of a passion project for me, and I couldn't be more excited to have found it a home at Mandate.”
The movie which is the brainchild of Reiser, will be financed and produced by Mandate Pictures.
