Miss British Virgin Inlands 2011- 2012 Contestants

Five contestant will vie for the Miss British Virgin Inlands (BVI) 2011/2012, crown where the winner will represent her country at the Miss Universe Peagant 2012.

Dubbed a “A Royal Affair" the competion will be on Sunday July 31, 2011 at the Multipurpose Complex.

Riiva Williams is a 22 year former US National Guard ,who graduated from the Johnson & Wales University. She is presently a student of  Kaplan University  where she is pursuing a degree in Nutrition Science.

Riiva enjoys reading, writing poetry, singing, cooking and fashion design. 

21 year old Ciara Christian is former Miss Virgin Gorda Easter Festival 2008. She recently graduated from Dekalb Technical College, Atlanta Georgia where she majored in Elementary Education.

Ciara enjoys singing, dancing and reading.

Abigail Hyndman is a 21-year-old aspiring Anesthesiologist , who is attends Xavier University of Louisiana, where she is majoring in Biology/Pre-Med.

Abigail enjoys reading, exercising, travelling swimming and meeting new people. She was also first runner up in the Miss St. John Pageant 2010.

18 year Shanett Browne is currently attending the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, majoring in English.

In the future she would like to be a Corporate Lawyer and motivational speaker.

Shanett enjoys poetry and short story writing, playing the piano, travelling and modeling.

Washeema Guishard is a 19-year-old recent graduate of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College where she majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.

Washeema one day hopes to  open a youth center to provide youth leadership and skill enhancement.

Her hobbies includes event planning, soft ball, travelling and socializing.
