Buju Banton Found "Guilty"

A short while ago Buju Banton was found guilty on three charges by a 12-member panel of jurors a short while ago at the United States Sam M Gibbons Federal Court here in Tampa.

 Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie, was accused of setting up a drug deal in 2009 with two other, Ian Thomas and a James Mack . Buju throughout the ordeal he maintained his innocent of the charges saying he play no part in any conspiracy to possess cocaine.


The trial, which began on February 14, after his arrested on December 10, 2009. A first trial last year was declared a mistrial after jurors failed to arrive at a unanimous position
