Our own homegrown Emrand Henry is hard at work performing and writing new music as he prepares for launching a new album and video in 2010.
Just back from performing in St. Vincent over the weekend, Emrand is today releasing a new single titled “Bad man Role” produced and mixed by Sherwin Gardner and musical arrangement by DJ Frost of Flow Masters of Trinidad and Tobago.
Getting ready to break new grounds in the USA and Canada, Emrand is departing St. Lucia for a while to pursue greener pastures with a number of bookings already awaiting him in the USA.
Before leaving his homeland this busy and ambitious artiste is dropping this new track “Bad Man Role” to talk to the youth out there letting them know, that crime does not pay. In light of the crime wave which has hit St. Lucia in recent months he hopes that this song will make a positive impact on the lives of the perpetrators at large.
He urges the DJ’s and the many radio stations in St. Lucia to promote positive music like his, that is being produced Nationally, on a weekly basis by a lot of up and coming young artistes in St. Lucia, as they too are doing their part in the fight against crime and degradation in our communities and our society on the whole.
“Bad Man Role” was released over the weekend all over the region including Costa Rica and the Bahamas and internationally in the USA, Canada, England and a few countries in Africa and is already on heavy rotation on the radio stations and DJ’s are loving it up in the clubs.
