U
sain Bolt's record-setting sprinting Puma cleats were stolen from an industrial site in Croydon in London between April 26-28.

The orange Puma shoes, which
Bolt wore when he smashed the world record for the 100m dash in 2009 were signed by Bolt himself and are reportedly worth more than £20,000

Bolt took to Twitter to send a message to the thief/thieves

"All you had to do was just ask me for one..No need to go stealing the ppl things..Come on now."
"I know u love me..but please why u had to go stealing that signed Usain Bolt spikes in Croydon, England..I know u going to return it. Right?" He tweeted on Tuesday.

Since the original kicks haven't yet turned up, Bolt decided to sign and send a brand new pair straight to London via Fedex.

He posted a picture of him signing a new pair of shoes and wrote…. "Only natural I sign sum spikes after one of my overly excited fan stole that one..FedEx straight to London later."
