chef Marcus Samuelsson is set to open the Fairmont
Hamilton Princess’s
signature restaurant in Bermuda
by 2015.
The former guest chef for US President Barack Obama and the winner of the 2010 Top Chef Masters food will incorporate the flavours of Ethiopia, where he was born, and Sweden, where he grew up.
Chef Marcus, an award-winning cookbook author
currently has a restaurant called Red Rooster, which was opened in Harlem NY in December 2010. Samuelsson, together with Clarion Hotels, also
launched a restaurant concept called Kitchen & Table. The concept's first restaurant opened at the Clarion Hotel Armanda Airport
