FIYAH!
Dancehall Theater, directed, produced and choreographed by Jessica Phoenix of Fiyah
Productions. FIYAH! is an innovative, energetic and passionate
performance that showcases a selection of stories relating to Caribbean life,
everyday life challenges and fun told through dance and tributes the
originators and heart of Dancehall culture.
Dynamic in
character, the show fuses a full spectrum of Dancehall styles and its evolution
with a West African dance selection and a blazing "Back to Basics" and Mr.
Bogle homage to the roots of Dancehall culture. The cast of over 20 dancers
is excited to bring the best of Dancehall entertainment to the stage in NYC. The
show is set to run on November 8th and November 9th at the Roulette Theater,
located in downtown Brooklyn, at 7pm.
