Jamaican American artist Sean Kingston is giving bragging rights the original ‘twerkers’, the “Dancehall Queens of Jamaica”.
In an interview with The
Crosby Press, Kingston said
that the Jamaican women from the dancehall are the absolute best at twerking.
“You got girls dancing on their heads,
like walking on their heads dancing,” he told Crosby Press of Jamaican
dancehall dancers. “It’s like they ain’t got no bones in their body.”
And he added: “… the Jamaican girls,
we’re talking a whole other essence. We’re talking dancehall. They do
competitions every year for the dancehall queen in Jamaica.”
