According to the Observer
Uganda organisers
were not prepared for the huge crowd as it was a
huge stampede as people tried to have their way in. You either had enough power
to fight your way in or money to bribe a police officer. It was just evidence
that the manpower wasn't enough at the gates.
The show kicked off on time, at 7pm,
with the emcee of the night, Dave Dash,
inviting the deejays: DJ Roja, DJ Alludah and DJ Shiru to
take each other on the spinning wheels.
