Philly Carnival 2013 - This Saturday at Fairmount Park PA

June is being been celebrated as National Caribbean Heritage Month and in recognition  the International Caribbean Cultural Foundation (ICCF) will host the return of “Philly Carnival” to Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park during Father’s Day Weekend on June 15, 2013.

The parade/festival showcases Caribbean culture at its finest and serves as an avenue by which Americans and other ethnic groups can learn about Ethnic / Caribbean culture, art forms and expression. “Philly International Carnival” can best be described as an amazing cultural event; one that is colourfully expressed with costumes, dance, Caribbean music, showcasing Steel Pan. Carnival gives participants the opportunity to “taste the fun with its variety of ethnic culinary delights.”
