show this week Rihanna is helping victims of Sandy
by donating 1,000 sleeping bags to the New York Daily News' recovery campaign.
The “Diamonds”
singer has also asked her fans to help the victims of Sandy,
she will be holding a special listening
party for her upcoming album Unapologetic
in Manhattan today (Nov 9) and is asking fans to bring items to donate in
exchange for entry.
Items collected by the Daily News staff and delivered to the needy on Saturday November
10, and will include clothing and hygiene basics, like coats, blankets, diapers,
wet wipes, and home-cleaning supplies.

benefit will take place at her mentor Jay-Z's 40/40 sports club.
Rihanna
also released her music video for “Diamonds”, which is the first,
single taken off her seventh album 'Unapologetic'
Meanwhile, Rihanna recently confirmed
details of seven gigs that she will play in seven days as part of her new album
promotion. Dubbed the 777 tour, the singer will play seven gigs over seven days
in seven different countries. She will kick off the string of dates in London
on November 14, before stopping off in Paris, Toronto, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm
and New York.
