Keneea Linton launches her 2013 Spring Summer Collection at the Courtleigh Auditorium

On Tuesday night (Nov 27^th ) fashion filled the air in Kingston Jamaica at the launch of Keneea Linton new spring /summer collection.

As a designer Keneea is committed to the advancement of the local fashion industry through the Designer Guild (a nonprofit organization aimed at making the local fashion industry more competitive), as well as through Mission Catwalk, a reality series aimed at discovering and supporting fashion designers from across the Caribbean.

Upon arrival at the Courtleigh Auditorium guests were stunned by the beautiful and classy décor, who had their mouths opened throughout the cocktail hour. One guest described it as “awe inspiring”. The intimate setting paved the way to a much anticipated show; and the show did go on!

With 22 spectacular pieces, Keneea Linton satisfied her guest and left them amazed beyond comparison. There was no miss leading by her theme “Lady in Red” as she showcased beautiful artwork in the form of fashion . This was nothing new to Keneea as she has had collections presented at Caribbean Fashion Week, Island Couture in Miami International Fashion Week. Fashion for Charity in Soho, New York . She is the first Jamaican designer to be featured in Brooklyn fashion week in New York.

Since her launch in 2005 Keneea has produced wardrobes for both Miss Jamaica Universe and Miss Jamaica World.

At the end of the fashion show guest were truly in love with the collection and the designer creative use of lace and leather.

The models worked the runway rocking the beautiful design, but the end a full figured model who captivated the audience stole the show in the end .
