Eight beauties will this year vie for the title of Miss Bermuda 2012 on Sunday July 8th at the Fairmont Southampton Hotel,
Reigning queen Jana Outerbridge will crown her successor, who will represent the Island at the Miss World Pageant in Mongolia. She will also take home several prizes including $3,000, a wardrobe and an iPad.
The event will be hosted by comedian and actor Nadanja Bailey and radio personality Patrina (Power Girl) Paynter.
Meet the contestants
Deshona Perinchief
23 year old Deshona holds a Associates Degree in Office Administration and Business Management and currently works as a cashier at MarketPlace.
She enjoys singing, dancing, fashion design, art and theatre in her spare time.
Crystal Lyn
The CedarBridge Academy graduate is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing at American InterContinental University. She also works at Attride-Stirling & Woloniecki Law as a Executive Assistant.
Dwanae Simons
23 year old Dwanae
is employed at Wakefield Quin as an Office Assistant/Receptionist, and enjoys
spending quality time with family and friends, attending church, dancing, and
travelling
She is entered the Miss Teen Bermuda 2005 where she was placed 3rd and won the Miss Congeniality award

Chelsy Furtado
Chelsy who is 17 year old is currently enrolled at thrAcadia University in Canada where she is pursuing a Bachelors in Business Administration.
A former student Mount Saint Agnes where she was the Valedictorian of of her Graduating Class.
She has also won many awards including the School Spirit Shield, Gail McCallum-Kneisler Angel on Earth Award, and the BELCO Math Award.
Lene Hypolite
Lene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Bilingual Economics from York University, and is fluent in Spanish ,French and Portuguese.

She is currently pursuing her Masters of Arts in Economics and Policy, t Georgia State University where she was recently inducted as a member of the Phi Beta Delta honor society for international scholars.
This 24 year old also work as a Graduate Research Assistant and volunteers at West End Academy and Cook Elementary School as a math and economics tutor.
Dashunte Furbert
This 22 year old is a Bermuda College graduate with an Associate degree in Science.
Shannon Ingram
Shannon is a recent high school graduate of and volunteers with the Candy Stripers &
Girl Guides.
This 17 year old enjoys ballet, gymnastics and modelling.
Rochelle currently holds an Associate Degree in Art and Design from The Bermuda College where she graduate with distinction. She also has Foundation Diploma with Merit in Fashion Design from the West London College and currently enrolled in a BA Honours in Fashion Design Course at the University For the Creative Arts in Rochester, England.
She enjoy designing and making clothes, shopping for inspiration, making jewellery, socialising, reading, exercising and playing with my violin or keyboard.
