Mount Vernon Comes Alive As Butterfli Wings Foundation Hosts Its Annual Fashion Fabulosity Fundraiser Dinner & Fashion Show

Butterfli Wings Foundation (www.butterfliwings.org) is set to host it's annual Fashion Fabulousity Fundraiser Dinner/ Fashion Show on Sunday June 10, 2012 at the Macedonia Center in Mount Vernon, NY. This event is to offset the cost of school supplies and personal care items for children and schools throughout the Island of Jamaica. We are also honored to be helping fifteen (15) schools with building bathrooms, computer rooms and water fountains.

Butterfli Wings Foundation is a non-profit organization, dedicated to helping children reach their full potential by tackling the cause of poverty. Poverty plays a significant role in the lives of children in Jamaica, in part because it keeps them from attending school. Since 2002, Butterfli Wings Foundation has worked diligently to help each and every child explore and experience life to the fullest. When parents struggle to make ends meet and find the resources to send their children to school, Butterfli Wings Foundation steps in providing assistance to children who want to attend school but are challenged by their circumstances. Throughout the year, we assist children with school supplies, scholarships, and money to purchase uniforms, personal care items, footwear and more.

Butterfli Wings Foundations annual charity fashion show and dinner, Fashion Fabulosity will bring together some of the most talented Caribbean designers who will grace the runway with their lines, alongside top models and entertainment. Fashion Fabuloisity’s featured designers include Butterfli Wings, Chi Chi Vogue, M. Perry Collections, Vindictive Couture and more. Guests will enjoy the angelic voice of UK Artist Keisha White (The Weakness In Me) in a special LIVE performance. Butterfli Tia, founder of Butterfli Wings Foundation will also be unveiling her exclusive t- shirt/ cap line. This is sure to be a momentous night in fashion, supporting a valiant cause.
