Vybz Kartel granted bail on ganja charge, but remains in custody

Vybz Kartel, real name Adijah Palmer was yesterday granted bail in the sum of $40,000 on his ganja charge but will remain in custody as he is currently on a murder charge.


Kartel and three other person were arrested last year, when police raided a hotel in New Kingston small quantity of ganja.in the artiste room. Kartel, had pled not guilty to a ganja possession charge and the matter was sent to trial.

However the raid was in relation to the current murder charges of Barrington 'Bossie' Bryan . Kartel will head back to court on March 14 to answer to these charges..
