A documentary "Marley" about the life of Bob Marley will hit US theaters in April

A documentary on the life, music, and legacy of  Bob Marley will be in theaters across the United States on April 20 and also will be available in Video On Demand and digital format.

The world  premiere  will be this month's Berlin Film Festival and its North American premiere at the SXSW Film Festival in March.


The film "Marley" is by Scottish director, Academy Award winner Kevin Macdonald, and is distributed by Magnolia Pictures. Co-Producers are Steve Bing of Shangri-La Entertainment and Charles Steel  and executive-produced by Marley's son Ziggy and Island Records founder Chris Blackwell.


"This documentary is the ultimate revelation of my father's life," said Ziggy Marley in a statement. "The family is proud to be able to have the world finally experience this emotional journey."
