Vybz Kartel (born Adidja Palmer ) will appear in court today for preliminary hearing. Kartel who was scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday to answer charges, did not appear, due to lack of incomplete documentation from the police officers.
Vybz Kartel was arrested along with 3 other persons at a hotel in Kingston on Friday, and was charged with murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm. The other persons Andre St John , Shane Williams and Alicia Jackson are also scheduled to appear in court to answer to charges of possession of ganja.
LIME withdrew deal with Vybz Kartel new show "Teacha's Pet".
Mean while LIME telecommunications, has announced that will the company we longer be part of Kartel new reality show "Teacha's Pet".
LIME issued a statement yesterday, citing "the serious nature of the charges" as the reason for its decision, but said it would not comment further because "the issue is now a legal matter which is the purview of the security forces and the courts".
The future of the show is unknown, as nothing has be heard from CVM tv.
