Reggae Gone Country Concert

Reggae's Gone CountryThe Reggae Gone Country Concert was recently held  at Breezes Hotel in Negril, Jamaica.  The concert is in collaboration with  the 13-track compilation album with the same name "Reggae's Gone Country", by Cristy Barber, Vice President of marketing and promotions at New York City-based VP Records.

Barber stated that "“I’m just excited to expose two different genres of music I love,” she continues. “I stuck with the very 1st song I picked for each Reggae artist to cover, and never turned back.”

Etna one of the performer explained "Reggae's Gone Country is a clever attempt to educate the Kenny Rogers and George Strait supporters on the exceptional talent coming out of Jamaica in the 21st century. As for the Reggae artist, “every Sunday my mom use to play Country.
