WHY SHOULD YOU BE CROWNED MISS EARTH JAMAICA 2011?
I am a very hard working and highly motivated individual who has tunnel vision on anything I set my mind to. I should be crowned Miss Earth Jamaica 2011 because I think I am a perfect archetype of what a Miss Earth ambassador should be.
I am actively involved in Environmental projects across Jamaica such as tree planting in various schools & beach clean ups etc. Winning this pageant will enable me a platform in which I could use to spread environmental awareness and prevention to the people of Jamaica as well as the rest of the world.
It would also be a prestigious honor being crowned Miss Earth Jamaica as winning will give me the opportunity to not only be an ambassador for the Environment but for my beautiful country Jamaica.
WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THE PLATFORM OF “TAKING RESPONSIBILITY” IN REGARDS TO THE ENVIRONMENT?
I strongly believe that every single human being has a role to play in preserving the environment. Whether its by recycling, helping to reduce global pollution, joining the green movement, engaging in organic farming etc. This world is not owned by environmentalist or governments so we all individually have to do our part because at the end of the day global warming, deforestation, water shortages etc. will affect us all.
“Taking Responsibility” to preserve the Earth is a platform I stand behind 100% and I hope my fellow Jamaicans will as well.
