Jah Cure disqualified from MOBO awards

Jah Cure who was recently nominated in the Best Reggae Act category, in the MOBO Awards, is now being disqualified.

Reports are that organizers found that Jah Cure, whose  real name is Siccature Alcock was convicted  for rape, gun possession and robbery and sent to jail in 1999, where he was released in 2008.

The MOBO awards which is in its 16 year, will be held  on October 5 at Glasgow SECC.  Other nominees in the Best Reggae Act category includes, Damian Marley & Nas, Alborosie, Khago and Mavado.

I applaud the organizers of MOBO for disqualifying Jah Cure. He is a convicted rapist who has never publicly admitted his crime nor has he apologized to his victim.
