Mission Catwalk winner is Shenna Carby

The 2011 Mission Catwalk winner is Shenna Carby, who hails from Denham Town. Mission Catwalk the Jamaican version of  US Project Runway, aimed at discovering and developing talented local fashion designers for the international market.
13 designers originally entered the reality series which was aired on TVJ, and hosted by creator Keneea Linton-George.  It was down to 2 finalist in the end, Ayanna Dixon and Shenna Carby who both battle for the title at this year's Miami Beach International Fashion Week

Judges include Novia McDonald-Whyte and Carlton Brown with several guest judges including, Kimberley Mais, Yendi Phillipps, Biggie and Miss Kitty.
As the winner Shenna was awarded an internship at an international fashion house and a scholarship to study fashion designing at Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. She was received 250,000 to produce their own clothing line, industrial equipment from NCB valued at $200,000 to set up a sewing studio, while Digicel will provide a BlackBerry and $5,000 call credit.
