Entertainer "Risto Benjie" was gun down

Michael Benjamin "Risto Benjie"  a well know entertainer was shot and killed by a lone gunman in Old Harbour, St. Catherine Monday night.


Reports are that at about 10:00 p.m, a gunman approached "Risto Benjie" , while he was sitting outside a house in "Vietnam" in Church Pen.

The 36-year was known for his popular hit song, ‘Gimme di Money, Passport, Don't Press Button', died later at a hospital.

Three years ago, the entertainer was also accused of being involved in the robbery of a woman in Spanish Town, St Catherine.
