The nine days of music filled fun of the Tobago's Jazz Festival 2011, will begin April 23 through May 1, 2011. This is the third year of the event and will feature act jazz musicians Joe Sample and Randy Crawford and R&B sensation, Trey Songz.
The event begin with Jazz in the East at the village of Speyside on Saturday, April 23 at 4:00 pm., featuring Ruth Osman, and other soca and reggae acts.
The newest additon "Hillside Jazz" on Sunday, April 24 at 4:00 pm at Signal Hill Recreational Ground. The fun continues on Monday, April 25 and Tuesday, April 26 for Tobagonian goat racing. A celebration in itself, this two-day event is a “must-see” experience for visitors.
Jazz on the Waterfront. takes place on Wednesday, April 27 at 6:00 pm at the Scarborough Esplanade, with a performance lineup that includes Lynette Louis and Marcus Steele.
World Music Night at Pigeon Point Heritage Park on Thursday, April 28 at 7:30 pm, with superstar, Trey Songz. For a night of Pan and Jazz, courtesy of Pantrinbago, pan-lovers can head to the Pigeon Point Heritage Park on Friday, April 29.
Joe Sample and Randy Crawford will be giving a true Tobago Jazz Experience on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, to help close out the show.
The final night "Beach Jazz Fiesta" on May 1 starting 4:00 pm at Pigeon Point, true jazz-lovers are invited to come, relax and take in the musical stylings from traditional and contemporary jazz artists.
