New Book about the life of "Sugar Minott"

Lincoln ”Sugar” Minott , longtime friend Beth Lesser, recently published a book about the life of the singer, entitled " The LEGEND OF SUGAR MINOTT AND YOUTH PROMOTION . Last year Sugar Minott died at age 54.

Beth Lesser said she got to know Sugar Minott in the 80’s and that she and her husband married at dance arranged by his sound system and label Youth Promotion.  Lesser is best known  for her books entitled  King Jammy’s and Dance Hall: The Rise and Fall of Dance Hall Culture.
