Upcoming Jamaican designer Johnpaul Pierre, based in New York. Johnpaul, born Jermaine Watson, is working on getting to the top of the international fashion game., with his "Timeless, Fresh and innovative" slogan. Pierre describes his style as unique and bold, for the everyday woman who wants to make a statement when she steps out of her house.The designer has been exploring his soul’s desire to bring glamorous dressing to every woman’s life and caters to women of all ages and sizes; a style he describes as, “Tame drama!”
Pierre’s eye for fashion was apparent from an early age, when he would easily identify what was fashion forward based on his observations from television and the movies. At that time, he bemoaned the fact that the women he was surrounded by could not be as fashionable as those seen on screen. Hence, the birth of EVERY WOMAN, making the average woman look like a star.


His designs range from flirty florals to sophisticated chic - sometimes laced with a darker edge - in chiffon, ruching and lace. Overall, the line has a more eclectic and experimental feel in comparison to the more established labels around. Like any major fashion name, JohnPaul Pierre has kept its A-list status by marketing the kind of must-have products and fantastic designs, It was through his exposure with textile via his female family members, especially his grandaunt who was a seamstress by trade; that he was able to teach himself the skills needed to begin his journey.
